easter eggs.....

I love fun projects to do with my daughter for the holidays!  I bet you have never seen Easter eggs like this!  I fell in love with this idea of dying eggs with old silk ties!  Cannot wait to experiment with this over the weekend!

Trunk shows are so much work but I love working on them!  Especially rewarding is when all the designs are completed, tagged and set up on display all lovely in a store........

the roaring 20's

One of the trends you will be seeing more and more of is the influence of the roaring 20's on fashion.  That is because of the filming of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby that is underway in Australia where designers are pulling lots of inspiration with dropped waistlines and tassels!  So much fun!!

I love antique buttons!  They are so beautiful and unique!  Honestly you just cannot find buttons made like that today!  We dug into our large collection and came up with some gorgeous little belts made from these little guys!
