My interest in fashion and creativity began at the age of 5. I would get out of bed in the middle of the night (like 3 a.m.) to set up my outfits with their accessories for the week! I would spend hours during the day creating outfits for my dolls out of fabric on my grandmothers sewing machine because I just didn't like what Barbie had available in the stores! It hasn't changed much.... Although I still do get up in the middle of the night (mostly due to a naughty dog and hormonal changes) it is not due to obsessing over what outfits to wear for the week!
I have always had a love for all things lovely, pretty and beautiful. I owned and operated an interior design business and ran that for many years but having a vision in my head of what I wanted and what the client eventually agreed to were two different things and it left me frustrated and unfufilled. I didn't really know what I wanted to do after that but I knew it had to be something creative. I was not cut out for the nine to five, sit behind a desk in a tiny cubicle kind of life! Creating this business from the ground up has been one of the most fulfilling and wonderful experiences of my life.
I hope to share with you a little bit of everything.....design, fashion, creativity, passion, wisdom, challenges, recipes, happiness, triumphs, thoughts......and whatever else pops up in this crazy mind of mine!
