Imagine being able to design your own fabrics!  How much fun is that?  Well that is exactly what the site Spoonflower.com allows you to do!

You create your very own fabric design on their site by uploading either a digital photo, a scan of artwork or a design created in a graphics program such as photoshop or illustrator.  You upload it, select the fabric, size and layout and in 10 to 11 days it's delivered to your door!  Think about how much fun this could be?!  And creative... pillows, curtains, clothing...you name it, anything made with fabric and its totally unique and totally yours!

Fabric prices run from $18 to $32 a yard.  Check them out at Spoonflower!  And there is no minimum order to boot!  So get creating!

new years resolutions.....

Make them easy, that's what I say!  I quit smoking last year and didn't do it for a New Years resolution.  It was a few months into the year when I just said "enough"!  My skin is clearer, I breathe better, feel healthier and have a ton of extra cash every month to boot!  I did put on 10 pounds but five of them are now gone and I only have five to go.....worth every bit of effort!  I did it with the help of the nicoderm patch and would highly recommend it.  I did listen to every bit of their advice though.... I did all three steps!  Don't skip a step (like after step 2 if you feel like you don't need it, trust me, you do...) go through all the steps.  I am now completely free and never have cravings anymore... even with coffee!  So my advice for New Years resolutions is keep them easy...  When you are ready to tackle the big stuff like weight loss, quitting bad habits...etc.. it won't happen just because its the beginning of a new year, it will happen because you truly want it!

anthropologie....

Start the new year off with some of my favorite things that whisper "spring is on its way!" (ok, I'm being an optimist here!)  Seriously though, I love the store Anthropologie.  I could (and have) spent hours just walking around looking at everything.  I especially love all their little books!  These are some of my favorite things......  All of these can be found at Anthropologie.

Can you imagine hanging this outside under a porch and filling it with comfy pillows and just drifting off for a little afternoon nap?  I can!

I just love owls and this little guy is just so happy looking....and he is a cookie jar!

Love to journal?  I do and this journal is just so cool.  Start the New Year with a gratitude journal!  Write down each day what you are thankful for!

I am imagining climbing into this bed which just looks so comfy and pretty!  Love this!!

Anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with clocks and this little knob is just too cute!  I am seeing this  on a cool piece of furniture I have rescued from a flea market, painted either black or white and put these fabulous knobs on!

Not a big fan of the monogrammed mug but these are just so different and whimsical....

its a new year.....

Happy New Year!  Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their family and friends!  We are back to work here and gearing up for more trunk shows and new designs.  We also just got in the most amazing shipment of agates ever!  The colors are amazing!  Look for our new designs with those agates and others in the weeks to come!
