junk drawer art...

Okay, so don't know what to do with all that stuff in your junk drawer?  Here is a pretty unique way to repurpose all that stuff and make it into a piece of art for the wall.  I just thought this was so clever and a fun project to do with your kids too!  This was on The Nate Berkus Show and the woman who did it has directions on borganic.net

This is a bunch of junk from a drawer which has been adhered onto a wooden piece of plywood.  You can use whatever glue you choose to get it on there..

Not very attractive right?

But here is what it looked like after it was spray painted....

Keep those kids busy this summer and have them do a junk drawer art project or get creative yourself and create a fun conversation piece!  It's unique, creative and it's totally green!
